about

Time and a Place marks the beginning of a new chapter for Dearth of Earth (formerly known as Dearth). While the original self-titled release was largely a singular DIY endeavor, this album was a much more collaborative effort. The songs were mostly written around 2019 (two of which were written amidst the hazy fever dreams of a bad flu), and guitars were recorded track by track throughout the collective hysteria and transmogrification of 2020. Bass and guitar leads were mostly written or augmented during this recording process. We've put a lot of time and energy into this music and cannot wait to share it with you all.
